Hello! I’m attempting to generate a cone mapping model from a chart. I’ve measured my chart and saved the results table as a .csv file. However, when I try to generate the model, an error message pops up (see attached image). As a result, no .class file of the model is created; the only format that exists in the “Cone Models” folder is .java. I am therefore unable to perform the “Convert to Cone Catch” function in the toolbox with my created model.
I’m running the latest ImageJ, Java, and have installed the the micaToolbox v2.1.0. Do you have any advice on how to fix this error?

Hi Meghan,
I’m really not entirely sure how to fix this one I’m afraid (I don’t have a mac). It’s possible your compiler isn’t working. Try opening up the .JAVA cone model as a text file in ImageJ and then go “compile and run”. If this creates the same error then it’s the compiler which is the issue (so google the error and see what comes up).
When downloading ImageJ make sure you go for the version with java bundled.
Cheers,
Jolyon
