Hey was wondering for my project would I be able to use a full spectrum camera to get both RBG information and UV information (with filters), or would I need two separate cameras for data collection

Heya,
You would be able to use a UV transformed camera and sufficient filters to take an RGB and a UV image (see here: http://www.empiricalimaging.com/knowledge-base/ultraviolet-photography/ as well as studies using MICA for tetrachromatic visual systems). That is, if you are taking images of static objects.
