Pattern and Luminance measurements

Hello,

I have created .mspec files and would need to measure patten and luminance for a single photo. I have read the user guide (http://www.empiricalimaging.com/knowledge-base/a-users-perspective-guide-on-colour-granularity-analysis-using-the-mica-toolbox-studying-colours-and-patterns-in-biology-using-digital-photography-by-michal-sulc/) and it mentioned to use Plugins>Multispectral Imaging>Image Analysis>Pattern colour and luminance measurements. However, it does not seem to measure my ROIs and only measured the scale bar. An error message (IOexception, error saving files for pattern energy) then appeared. May I know how can I resolve this?
