I am having trouble creating mspec images. I am not able to choose “camera type.” When I try to proceed with creating an image I get a File Open error message. It seems my importSettings.txt might be in a read only format.
I am using a Mac (OS Monterey 12.4) and have double checked that I have dcraw in my plugins folder for ImageJ. I dowloaded the micatoolbox v2.2. Let me know if you have any other suggestions. Thanks!

This is normally due to copying the toolbox folders to the wrong place. The four folders in the zip file need to be in Imagej/plugins/ not inside another directory.
Otherwise you could try moving the whole ImageJ.app to another location on your hard drive.
